We now offer this valuable diagnostic procedure as part of our comprehensive private eye examination.

The latest Retinal Imaging technology is used to detect and monitor signs of:

• Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
• Glaucoma

Although for most it provides peace of mind and a useful reference for your next visit - allowing even the smallest changes to be detected.

A Comprehensive Eye Examination

Our retinal imaging procedure has been incorporated in our comprehensive private eye examination. We are among the first opticians in the UK to include this important, yet totally painless diagnostic test as part of our comprehensive private eye examination. The NHS does not cover this procedure as part of an NHS Sight Test, although it can be added for just £10. A small price to pay for such peace of mind.

This technology enables high definition digital photographs to be taken of the retina - the delicate light sensitive lining - inside the eye and the smallest changes can be compared over time.
